| This house was a mail order house from the Sears Catalog. The name of the model is Crescent. The model was offered between 1921 and 1933. This house was built in 1929 by Horace S. and Laura W.Good. Horace Good was employed by the railyards. The Goods previously owned 415 West Cook, the house next door. The Crescent Sears home was shipped from Blume Brothers, Des Plaines, Illinois. The house has been restored to match the original style, including removing aluminum siding to reveal the original siding as well as dismantling a porch enclosure. | |
